A new survey finds 56 percent of Americans have at some point used wireless means for online access. Here's the details, from the Pew Research Center:
- People have gotten online wirelessly using:
- Laptops: 39 percent
- Cell phone or smart phone: 32 percent
- Desktop computer: 12 percent
- PDA and the like: 7 percent
- iPod or mp3: 5 percent
- Kindle or other e-book: 1 percent
The survey was conducted in April and released this week.
