Wireless America: 56%

A new survey finds 56 percent of Americans have at some point used wireless means for online access. Here's the details, from the Pew Research Center:

People have gotten online wirelessly using:
Laptops: 39 percent
Cell phone or smart phone: 32 percent
Desktop computer: 12 percent
PDA and the like: 7 percent
iPod or mp3: 5 percent
Kindle or other e-book: 1 percent

The survey was conducted in April and released this week.
