The Guardian reports that the CIA pays tribesmen in Pakistan to plant electronic devices near locations where al-Qaida and Taliban commanders are hiding out. Hours later, the device guides a drone to destroy the building with missiles. The technology is conceivable, but the story sources "residents and Taliban propaganda" so it's not entirely clear if the military and CIA have capitalized on the idea as indicated.
