The Top Baby Names of 2012

The Social Security Administration released the top baby names of 2012 on May 9, 2013. Jacob and Sophia held their places at the top of the list from 2011, but newcomers Liam and Elizabeth knocked Chloe and Daniel out of the top 10. 

Parents leaned toward Old Testament names for baby boys in 2012 and continued their prediliction for pretty, vowel-filled monikers for girls. Read on for the top 25 names for each gender.
