New Type of Intellectual Disability Discovered

A new type of intellectual disability thought to affect cognitive development by disrupting the functioning of brain cells called neurons has been discovered.

The disability and the gene behind it were found by researchers at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH).
