Smoked Fish Spread Recalled by Wisconsin Fishery

Rushing Waters Fisheries, Palmyra, is recalling about 225 pounds of smoked trout and smoked salmon spreads, because the products may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, the FDA announced today.

No illnesses have been reported from eating this product. The contamination was discovered through routine testing conducted by the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection.
