Katherine Tallmadge, M.A., R.D., (katherinetallmadge.com) is a registered dietitian, author of "Diet Simple: 195 Mental Tricks, Substitutions, Habits & Inspirations" (LifeLine Press, 2011) and her new book, "Diet Simple Farm to Table Recipes: 50 New Reasons to Cook in Season" (Gumroad Press). She is a frequent nutrition commentator on CNN, Fox News, 20/20, NBC’s Today Show and other national programs and has been a guest on such programs as Jon Stewart’s The Daily Show and The Emeril Lagasse Show. A past national spokesperson for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, she was also president of the District of Columbia Metro Area Dietetic Association.
