Female Stockbrokers Make Less than Males

Women at two of the largest commercial brokerage houses sued their former employers over their paychecks, and a new study backs up their complaints: Women on Wall Street make less than their male counterparts.

"Stockbrokers are among the highest paid workers, yet they have the greatest gender inequality among all sales worker jobs," study researcher Janice Fanning Madden, of the University of Pennsylvania, said in a statement.
