Dr. Salome Shokri-Kuehni’s expertise lies in science policy, capacity building, and international cooperation, with a focus on connecting research, policy, and investment for sustainable development.
At Hamburg University of Technology, she teaches courses on environmental research trends, microplastics, and applied fieldwork in water and environmental science. Besides her teaching, she works as a scientific program manager at a German Projektträger, where she monitors international research landscapes, connects stakeholders from academia, industry, and government, and strategically aligns research funding with policy goals.
