Tyler J. VanderWeele is a professor of epidemiology and biostatistics at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and directs Harvard’s Human Flourishing Program. He researches causal inference, well-being, and the intersection of health, religion and spirituality. VanderWeele has authored over 400 peer-reviewed papers and several books, including Explanation in Causal Inference and Measuring Well-Being.
