How the Containment Dome Works

Here's a look at how British Petroleum's custom-made containment dome will work to collet oil leaking from the seabed at the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico. This dome method has never been used in such deep waters, but if successful could capture 85 percent of the 5,000 barrels a day currently spilling out.
