Tropical Depression 3 has formed in the Pacific Ocean south of Manzanillo in Mexico. A tropical wave extends from the south central/southeastern Gulf of Mexico to the north central Yucatan Peninsula and the northern border of Guatemala. A tropical wave in the Atlantic Ocean north of Suriname and French Guiana is producing numerous strong showers and thunderstorms. This image was taken by GOES East at 1545Z on July 7, 2011.
