Otter Population Takes Small Dip
The NOAA produced this 3-D satellite image of Hurricane Emily (on the right) and Tropical Storm Eugene (on the left) as they bear down on Mexico this morning.
After crossing the Yucatan Peninnsula Monday, Emily is expected to make landfall this week again somewhere near the U.S.-Mexico border. Eugene is located west of Guadalajara, Mexico and is heading northwest at 11 knots.
Hurricane Emily is the fifth named storm and the second major hurricane in a record-setting busy start to a hurricane season experts had said would be very active.
