The land of Acadia National Park is one ofAmerica's natural wonders. It is the product of a great period of geological time. Powerful forces from massive ice sheets to mountain-building and molten magma, in conjunction with the persistent forces of wind, water, waves and temperature all came together here to form the spectacular landscape that we see and can enjoy today at Acadia.
