SXGINBT UV LED Shortwave Flashlight

Two for the price of one

This duo pack includes both a compact blue light flashlight and a small blacklight flashlight.

Pros:

  • Two flashlights
  • Compact design
  • Wrist strap included

Cons:

  • Not waterproof
  • Too small for some uses

This blue light flashlight comes with an ultraviolet black light flashlight, too, making it a good budget-friendly option. The blue light is small with a wrist strap, but will pick up pet urine stains, oil stains and help identify fraudulent documents, money, stamps, etc. The aluminum alloy casing makes it dent-resistant in case you drop it. It isn’t waterproof, though. And while it gives sufficient light, the flashlight’s small, compact size doesn’t make it the ideal pick for outdoor activities or nighttime nature observation adventures. The black light flashlight of this duo pack is even smaller than the blue light flashlight. Black light picks up fluorescent carcinogens in just about any object. This is helpful in determining the safety of products your family uses, or in conducting science experiments.

LRI PBK Photon II Blue Beam Micro-Light Keychain

Always with you

The LRI blue beam flashlight is also a keychain with an easy to use clasp. The flashlight easily turns on and off when needed.

Pros:

  • Strong enough to hold several keys
  • Easy on/off switch
  • Quick-release ring

Cons:

  • Not waterproof

This blue light flashlight is designed to fit on your key ring, so you always have it with you. The light beam isn’t very strong, nor does it shine far,  but it is enough to find small objects at night or identify fraudulent documents. You turn on and off this flashlight by tapping the small switch button. It’s powered with a small, Lithium-ion battery that can’t be recharged, but it can be replaced. Batteries are not included. The light is attached to a ring with an easy release clasp that you can add to your key ring, or use as your primary key ring. It’s strong enough to hold a few keys. The light is water-resistant, so it’s okay if it gets a little wet, like during a rainstorm. However, it will short out if it is submerged in water.

Bottom line

The WAYLLSHINE blue light flashlight has the features you need to observe nightlife without bothering them, or discovering minerals in rocks, or conducting science experiments in a dark room. The beam illuminates well and has a zoom feature to bring objects closer to you, but the blue light isn’t strong for blinding. The body of the flashlight includes a belt clip, so you can keep it close to you to gab quickly. It also has three light settings - low, high, and strobe. One setback is the flashlight doesn’t remember the setting you need. Instead, it cycles through each one as you turn the light on and off. This flashlight is handy for night activities, including night fishing. However, while it can handle a little rain, it isn’t waterproof, so it may short out with heavier rains, or if dropped into water.
