Mouse Study: Ibuprofen May Make Old Lungs Look Young

The common, over-the-counter drug ibuprofen may hold promise in reducing inflammation in lungs as people age. Researchers at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center fed ibuprofen to older mice for two weeks and saw a dramatic reduction in inflammation in lung tissue.
