Researchers at Sandia National Laboratories have developed a robotic hand that can be used to disarm explosive devices.
The robot hand is modular meaning different types of fingers can be attached and plugged in to the rest of the hand. This means the operator can easily attach extra tools such as flashlights, screw drivers or cameras. The operator controls the robot hand with a glove from afar.
