After additional strong thunderstorms rolled through portions of tornado-ravaged Oklahoma on Tuesday, the weather will improve greatly on Wednesday.

Drier, less humid air will push in from the northwest on Wednesday, which will allow for a sunny day. The dry air will squash the threat for any thunderstorms.

Thunderstorms continued to affect the Sooner State on Tuesday. However, odds were against storms of a violent nature of recent days, thanks to a push of cooler, less humid air.

The National Weather Service deployed four damage survey teams from Newcastle to near Lake Stanley Draper on Tuesday afternoon. Survey efforts were complicated by lightning and hail, they reported at a press conference in Moore on Tuesday afternoon.
