Rubik's Cube
Everybody knows Rubik's cube
At this point, Rubik's cube is a name that is almost synonymous with the term puzzle cube. I'm almost certain that if you haven't played with one, you have watched someone play with one.
The premise is simple; twist the sides round until the face colors match on each side. Sounds easy right? Well, it isn't. But it is really good fun to try.

Can you solve them?
I have to admit, I suck at puzzles. As much as I enjoy them, and I do, I have never once solved a Rubik's Cube, and I don't think I ever will. My kid though has the tricks down pat and loves to spin it in his hand to keep him calm.
Puzzles are great for calming the mind and help you focus on a task at hand. I often find that taking a five-minute break at work to do puzzles helps me refocus back on my original task.
If you are looking for something a little prettier to have on your desk, then the Brain Teaser Puzzle by Sharp Brain Zone is fantastic. It looks really nice and is easy to pick up and try when you have a few minutes.
