Lab-Made Geysers Reveal Hidden Workings | Video

Volcanologist Michael Manga and student Esther Adelstein study geysers in Chile and Yellowstone National Park in order to better understand the system hidden deep below the surface. They’ve used their observations to create a loop-de-loop apparatus in the lab that periodically bubbles and boils like geysers in the real world.
