Chad Blakley (lightsoverlapland.com) captured a vibrant display of the Northern Lights over Abisko National Park in Sweden on September 12, 2014. They were generated by a KP-7 geomagnetic storm that hit Earth as a result of two coronal mass ejections (CME) from the Sun on September 9th and 10th.
According to Blakley, the "large aurora displays will never be forgotten by the people that were lucky enough to witness the event".
