Expert Voices: Brian Hare and Vanessa Woods

Brian Hare is the director of the Duke Canine Cognition Center, co-author of the New York Times Best selling The Genius of Dogs, and co-founder of Dognition (www.dognition.com). Hare is associate professor of evolutionary anthropology at Duke University in North Carolina and a member of the Center for Cognitive Neuroscience. Vanessa Woods (www.vanessawoods.net) is a New York Times Bestselling author, researcher and journalist. She is the co-author of the New York Times Bestseller The Genius of Dogs (Dutton 2013), and Bonobo Handshake (Gotham 2010), which won the Thomas Lowell Award for non fiction.
