New Sci-Tech Words in the Dictionary

Nearly 100 new words have been added to Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary, Eleventh Edition this year. Below are a few that pertain to science and technology.

Carbon footprint
Cardioprotective
Flash mob
Green-collar
Memory foam
Webisode
Vlog

Some of these clearly illustrate just how behind the times dictionaries can be. If we've just insulted you, however, you can find the definitions here (or just google them. Doh!).
