The CSU-CHILL National Weather Radar Facility is one of the nation’s premier research radars. The facility, operated by Colorado State University under the sponsorship of NSF and the university, is located outside of Greeley, Colo., and recently received a new offset antenna to allow vertical and horizontal rapid scanning. It can be accessed anywhere, a capability that has received excellent feedback from professors at other universities who teach radar meteorology.
