An image representing the team room in WTRI’s "Lynchpin Auto Parts" OpSim in Second Life environment, a testing ground for ideas where businesses run through scenarios before carrying them out. The testing ground is built upon academic research into how people learn, particularly how one can accelerate “deep” learning and change the fundamental ways in which they make decisions. The virtual environment gives the teams, some of which are from Fortune 500 companies, an opportunity to test out strategies without fearing the outcome.
