Chimpanzees mingle in Tchimpounga Reserve in the Republic of Congo. In research just begun at Harvard University, scientists are studying the nature of moral judgments and how they differ, or remain the same, across cultures and species. As part of the study, chimpanzees will be tested on their knowledge of goals and intentions, especially as these relate to morally relevant actions
