There are a few mouse lemur species, including the gray mouse lemur, Microcebus murinus (shown here), which are some of the smallest primates in the world. Weighing just 60 grams (2 ounces), with a body length of up to 5.5 inches (14 cm) not including the about same length tail, the gray mouse lemur is about the size of a chipmunk.
