Satellites have captured images of tropical storm Noel moving westward across the Caribbean Sea. At the time this image was taken, Noel was a tropical depression, but formed into a tropical storm later on Sunday. Noel soaked the Dominican Republic with heavy rain and flooding on Monday, and is now ravaging Florida's east coast.

Forecasters said Noel, the 14th named storm of the Atlantic hurricane season, has winds fanning 140 miles out from it's center at a sustained force of 40 mph.
