Berry Bash

Cranberries are perennial and grow on long-running vines in sandy bogs and marshes. Depending on the location, cranberries are either “dry harvested” or “wet harvested” (shown here). In wet harvesting, workers flood a bog with water so the berries float to the surface. Cranberry harvesters then gather up the floating berries.
