Travel Doubles Risk of Blood Clots

Sitting in cars or on planes can more than double your risk for blood clots, according to a new review of studies on the topic. Blood clots can, in turn, migrate to other parts of the body and prove deadly. Bottom line: The risk is still relatively low for healthy people. Tips: Drink more fluids and get up and walk around every couple hours.
