The death toll from the outbreak of A(H1N1) influenza reached 100 with the death of two people in New York, AP reports. Most of the deaths have been in Mexico. The World Health Organization yesterday reported 12,954 cases in 46 countries. The situation remains shy of pandemic status. Regular seasonal flu typically kills about 36,000 people in the United States alone.
