Majority Would Choose 'Green' Car vs. 'Dream' Car

A new survey of 13,500 city residents in 18 countries (including U.S. and China) finds about 60 percent would pick an environmentally friendly car over a gas-powered one even if they could afford the gas guzzler.
The question involved choosing between "green" cars and "dream" cars.
Given that preference, all that's need now are some, uh, green cars. In the United States and many countries, production of electric cars, in particular, seems to be behind demand (though new federal loans that are finally being doled out could help), and a nationwide recharging network is barely a dream.
