Harder for Women to Look at Birth-defect Babies

Men have less trouble looking at babies with facial birth defects compared to women, a new study suggests. Researchers don't know why. The study was very small, however, involving just 13 men and 14 women. Additional studies — with larger sample sizes — are surely needed. In fact the researcher said it might have something to do with maternal love, but another scientists at the institution that funded the study said that suggestion was too far-reaching. Indeed.
