Men with More Daughters Become More Liberal

Men who have more daughters are more likely to adopt a liberal political point of view, a new UK study finds. Likewise, women who have more sons are more likely to take on a conservative view. One reason, the researchers think: women tend to make less money. "As men acquire female children, those men gradually shift their political stance and become more sympathetic to the 'female' desire for a larger amount for the public good," says professor Andrew Oswald from Warwick University.
