Older People Pray More

That isn't the headline on the Pew Research Center presentation, but the group's survey finds that while 48 percent of American's age 18-29 pray daily, 68 percent of those 65 and older do so.

Women are much more likely to pray daily (66 percent vs. 49 percent for men). Poor people pray more than rich people, the survey finds.

And Jehovah's Witnesses and Mormons pray far more than the Jewish.

Worth noting the influence of technology: Nowadays, you can pay to have a computer pray for you, and new software reminds Muslims when to pray. No word on whether that counts in the Pew survey.
