Energy 101 test

Sorry, I just have to check to see if the forum is working.
I'll copy a post from another thread to verify this...

Recycle your Aluminum (or aluminium) cans.

It takes a huge amount of energy to refine the aluminum from ore. It takes 5% of that to recycle the aluminum.

Millions of tons of CO2 can be saved by this one small effort.

That is a really good argument. What about the plastics?

Depends on the type of plastic. Thermoplastics can be readily recycled; other types not so easily.

Talking about recycling, and turning my head towards demographics and lifestyles, I think we have got to start recycling every little waste we contribute to. One example, grease in restaurants, should be disposed of in an environmentally friendly way, like maybe inject it into empty oil reservoirs?

Also, bylaws would needed to be reviewed to minimise the waste disposal every city, town and hamlet have in it's place.

Also, there are a lot of motor parts that can be recycled, which just needs a thread in their screws or something. A small piece of housing of the part may need a small reinforcement. Maybe we should start making fuel out of the crap that falls behind us, as there are a lot of Canadian Honkers getting sick because they've endulged in a sewage lagoon somewhere on this face of this earth, when they migrate down south, and it would be better if that poo is covered up.

Humans are a very dirty species I'm starting to discover.
