Are you sure we get more flu? If we do, my guess is we don't eat enough fruits and vegetables, we abuse substances including tea, coffee, caffeen, tobacco, alcohol, over the counter and street drugs. We don't drink enough water nor get enough sleep. We get stressed excessively. Some of the unnatural stuff we eat is harmful = sugar, aspertain, preservatives and artifical flavors. These don't kill us, but they keep our immune systems so busy they can't deal with virus as effectively as persons with more natural diats.Global warming likely is not causing more flu, unless global warming has caused your nutrition habits to worsen.   Neil Posted by neilsox

What do you people use for informed sources? FOX News???? OMG! Some kind a global liberal media plot, eh?
I guess the PETA folks now say animal consumption by humans and all emmissions involved with this creates more "greenhouse gas emmissions" than all combustion engines combined, worldwide. Does that mean if we all become vegans, we can keep driving gas hogs? There must be a happy medium somewhere where we all can live in some sort of co existance. The extreme conservatives verses the "think for yourselves" folks. The meat eaters vs. the Vegans. The pro pollution crowd vs. the pro ecology and pro efficiency crowd.
Fact is, arctic "old" ice has been melting and has NOT been replaced by newer, thinner ice. The thin stuff is NOT equivalent to 10 yr. old thick ice. I prefer to listen to credible science and ignore the sugar coated, anti-global warming "news" reports that have some folks misled. To those poor souls I only have one word of advice, "THINK!!!"
We must progress and expand, or we will stagnate and die.
