I'm not sure I like the idea of regulating prescription drugs more. Yes, America is heavily over medicated and I do not enjoy watching a 3 minute commercial on how the fat just "disappears" after taking a pill. What worries me about the regulation is that it might slow down the system of getting medication as a whole. If you truly need medication for whatever you have, then you should be able to get it fairly quickly and without a bunch of unnecessary red tape. Waiting can kill when it comes to health. If the government can devise a system of regulation that is effective at getting medication to the people who need it quickly, while still keeping it out of the hands of those who don't, then I'd be all for it. close(-)
