I still have a gas car but going to the gas station has become on occasional unpleasant experience. Another way of looking at rising gas prices is that they will take up a larger part of our budgets and lower our standards of living in other areas. Very few cars get 25 mpg's. Maybe 15 to 18 and then your example puts it close to $4600 per year. Which makes this blog even more scary to think about.
