A woman in Montreal has put 21 of her eggs on ice to be potentially used by her daughter one day.
The daughter, now 7, has a condition called Turner syndrome and will almost surely be infertile when she grows up.
Depending on how the legal and ethical issues shake out by then, however, and if the eggs are still good, the girl, Flavie Boivin, could have one of her mom’s eggs implanted and then give birth to her biological half-brother or half-sister.
