More than 30 former spaceflyers are on the auction block this week in bid to raise money for the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation.

Everything from lunch with Apollo 11 astronaut Buzz Aldrin – the second human to set foot on the Moon – to plane rides piloted by spaceflyers and trinkets that have flown in space are up for bid, though if it catches your fancy you better be quick. The auction, which is hosted by the space memorabilia website collectSPACE.com, ends Aug. 12.

[Full disclosure: collectSPACE.com is a SPACE.com partner and sometimes contributes articles on space history and memorabilia. The auction can be found at http://collectspace.com/auction]

Former Apollo astronaut Al Worden, who served as command module pilot during NASA’s Apollo 15, chairs the Astronaut Foundation and tossed in his own pledge to host a scuba trip from a private yacht off the coast of the Bahamas for good measure.
