Unlike other sharks that swim smoothly the water, horn sharks are bottom dwellers, sometimes using their pectoral fins to crawl along rocks. Horn sharks are often found lurking under ledges or in caves, from which they ambush crabs and small fishes. They can grow up to 3 feet long and are named after the large spines found on their fins.
