Naked mole rats not fully in the buff; there are a few pale-colored hairs are scattered about the head and tail. Their skin is a wrinkly pinkish or yellowish color. They have a short, broad head, minute eyes, no external ears, and very prominent incisor teeth with which to dig around in total darkness.
