This year, scientists took their first serious research steps into the twilight-zone of déjà vu. They now say that a memory mix-up, in which sensations get linked to an actual memory in the brain, could trigger déjà vu. Even blind people can experience déjà vu, but instead of visual cues they rely on smell, hearing and touch. Stay tuned as scientists plan to map brain activity during déjà vu events.
