Bobbing for Pumpkins...
Say “Ahhhh…” Leo the snow leopard shows off his pearly whites at the Bronx Zoo (link to www.bronxzoo.com)
Leo became a celebrity last tear when a team from the Wildlife Conservation Society (link to www.savingwildlife.org) – the zoo’s parent organization – traveled to Pakistan on a diplomatic mission to find a home for Leo, who was orphaned. Since then, he has grown to adulthood and can be seen daily at the zoo’s Himalayan Highlands exhibit.
The Bronx Zoo has bred more snow leopards in captivity than any other organization. In the field, WCS is working to establish a new protected area in Afghanistan to safeguard snow leopards and other rare Asian wildlife.
