Antarctic Icequakes Triggered By Earthquake in Chile

The Magnitude 8.8 Chile earthquake of 2010 triggered icequakes (cryoseisms or frost-quakes); vibrations from rapid fracture in large ice fields, frozen soil, or rocks interlaced with frozen water.
