This enormous spider colony in Brazil makes it like the creatures are raining from the sky. The spiders in the video are Anelosimus eximius, a type of social spider. These spiders can create large colonies containing thousands of individual spiders. The spiders construct interconnected webs, called sheet webs, to catch insects. Working together also enables the spiders to capture larger prey than they could snare by themselves.
