Every day tasks become a challenge in zero gravity. In this video, Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield shows us how he clips his fingernails while in space. Turns out it’s pretty easy: you just aim your gross fingernail clippings towards a vent and then vacuum them up. Without proper disposal, a stray clipping could float around and then get stuck up a nostril or go into the ear.
