A jumping spider named Nefertiti spent 100 days on the International Space Station. The female jumping spider was dubbed the world's first Spidernaut. She traveled 42 million miles during her time aboard the ISS. The Spidernaut lived for 10 months until she died in December, which is close to the 1-year lifespan of her species, Phidippus johnsoni.
