Researchers from the Universities of Oxford and Vienna filmed a clever Goffin's cockatoo named Figaro making tools to reach for food. The researchers say when Figaro dropped a pebble he was playing with outside the cage, he grabbed a nearby stick to try and move the object closer to the mesh. When researchers gave the parrot another object, he was able to fashion another tool and successfully use it.
