This NASA video shows Superstorm Sandy from its birth in the central Caribbean on October 21 until it made landfall in New Jersey. NOAA's GOES-13 and GOES-15 satellites captured images of Hurricane Sandy along its journey over Jamaica and Cuba and into the Bahamas and then along the east coast. The monster storm is responsible for floods in Haiti, devastation along the New Jersey coast, a halt to subways in New York City, blizzard conditions in West Virginia, 20 foot waves in Lake Michigan and much more.
